Overview
- It’s designed in such a way as to be transparent when viewed from different angles, and because of the spacing of the columns and beams it continues to morph into a different piece of art as you walk around it.
- The mysterious Borgloon Church is placed in a field outside Borgloon town (1 hr from Brussels) and is accessible only on foot or bicycle.
- Even though it’s made of 30 tonnes of steel, Borgloon Church looks like a surrealist painting. From certain angles, sections of the structure appear transparent, as if it has dissolved into its surroundings. It stands in the countryside outside Borgloon town, in Belgium, 70 kilometres east of the capital Brussels.
