Overview:-
- Ring racer is a formula-one themed roller coaster located at Nurburging motor sports complex in Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany. Engineers are originally planned to run this roller coaster parallel to grand pix track at maximum speed of 135 miles per hour. It was designed to accelerate this roller coaster from 0 to 217 kilometer per hour in just 2.5 seconds. But few explosion in launching system delayed the opening of ride from 2009 to 2013. At same time it managed to reach speed of 99.4 mph in less than 2 seconds. In 2014, the authorities announced termination of ring racer project.
